Let's Get Lost

13.12. at 7:30 pm

Named after one of his best-known songs, Let's Get Lost, this documentary provides an intimate look into the twilight phase of the life of the brilliant jazz trumpeter and singer Chet Baker. Shot by famed photographer Bruce Weber in 1988, the film received numerous awards, including an Oscar nomination. The film is a vibrant mosaic, blending footage from the music studio, intense moments from concert stages, and intimate conversations with the aging musician and those who knew him.

For Bruce Weber, this is not the first time his photographic or film work has been showcased to the Czech public. A retrospective exhibition titled "My Education," which spans six decades of his distinctive photographic career, is currently on display at the Stone Bell House (GHMP) exhibition spaces and will run until January 19, 2025.
